On April 25th, Friends of the Port O’Connor Library sponsored a spaghetti dinner at the Community Center. Residents heard about plans for a library complex with a goal of enriching the lives of all segments of our population. Commissioner Kenny Finster and Judge Nancy Pomkal spoke and reminded everyone of the unlimited potential we have when we all work together for the common good. Friends of the Seadrift Library, who recently built their own library, also attended to offer their support and encouragement.
Port O’Connor elementary school student were invited to submit drawings of what they thought the new library should look like inside.
