The entry of the library will be an inviting location welcoming adults, children, local residents and visitors.

$100,000 – Meeting Room/Interactive Learning Space

An integral part of the library will be a large multi-use space with carpets for floor seating for children, table seating for mentoring opportunities, collaborative homework or project sessions and conference seating for seminars and classes.

$75,000 – Children’s Library Area

Vital to our library is the children’s area, set aside as a place that both adults and children will enjoy. Age appropriate, technology-driven learning opportunities will be available in addition to traditional paper books and story time reading programs focusing on the fun of learning.

$75,000 – Reading/Relaxation Space – Adults

Many of us remember libraries from our past that provided quiet, relaxing places to escape our everyday lives and immerse ourselves in a good book. This space will have comfortable chairs, good lighting and a place to put your feet up for a quiet morning or afternoon of reading. For others without internet access or a computer at home, this place will also allow for some quiet time to browse the internet, do genealogy research or keep in touch with friends and family by email and social media.

$50,000 – Middle School/High School Area

Attracting this age group into the library and providing the resources they will require to achieve success in school and acquiring life-skills will be the primary goal. There will be areas for conversation, building community and group learning/study. Our library will be built using the same concepts that other modern, state-of the art libraries have successfully used for this age group, keying off of what our local educators and students have told us they want.
